NAVID HEJAZI
Navid Hejazi is a composer born and raised in Madrid, Spain. He has scored different movies from the US, Europe, Japan and South America. His score for ‘Juan in a Million’ (‘The Silent Earth’) won best music at Festival de Cine Villa del Mar 2013, Chile’s most important film festival. He has worked on big budget movies like 21st Century Fox ‘The Pyramid’ or the Japanese 2013 Summer blockbuster ‘Gatchaman’. His solo violins can also be heard in movies like ‘Exists’ or ‘The Signal’ and the video game ‘Resident Evil 2: Revelations’. He also records for artists like Betty Moon.
In Los Angeles Navid Hejazi is part of Sound & Vision Creatives, a film music studio run by composer Nima Fakhrara where he gets the chance to collaborate with other composers. This great environment demands a strong spirit of team work and brings together many ideas from very talented musicians with different backgrounds.
From a family of musicians he started playing the violin at the age of five. During his childhood he fell in love with movies and at the age of fifteen started composing music. After graduating from Madrid Royal Conservatory he got a scholarship to study at prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where he majored in Film Scoring and Composition. After this he interned at Remote Control Productions in Los Angeles for composer Henry Jackman.
In Spain Navid Hejazi collaborates with director Armando Ravelo for whom he has scored ‘Ansite’, ‘The Queen of the Fairies’, ‘Monster’ or ‘Sweet Girl’ among others.
CARLA F. BENEDICTO
Carla F. Benedicto (Madrid, 1981) is a versatile music composer. B.A. History, Musicology, Piano, Musical Language and MSc International History, Carla has studied with professors such as Manuel Martínez Burgos, Enrique García Asensio and Enrique Rueda, amongst others. She composes music for audiovisual aids, collaborating with Film/ TV producers (Fran Gas Video, Molonko Films, Limonada Producciones...) as well as for companies in need for advert and/or commercial music (Producciones Uniges, Proyecto Alter...). She also composes for American music libraries and publishers, such as Writestuffmusic, Audiosparx, Kicksta Music Group. etc. and her instrumental works have been played by musical ensembles such as the Titán Quartet. She currently combines her composing activity with piano performances and PhD research at the Complutense University of Madrid.
GILDE FLORES
Gilde Flores, PKA "gilflo," (pronounced GIL-FLO), is a multi-instrument/genre musician, record producer/engineer/composer. He started at a young age, self taught with early guidance from his father, and moved on to become an onstage performer. He toured the United States starting at the age of 17 while performing with multiple known groups. He then took on his career "behind the scenes" of music in 2007 as a sound engineer and quickly moving into production. He has since mastered licensing and placing his music with some of the biggest names and organizations in film, TV, Internet, and Radio and continues to push ahead with other major works in progress.Production Discography
